We drove down to Sumuth Songhram province to touch the ethnic Thai who live by the river. It’s my opportunity to feel and touch it
cause of my friend has interview there so luckily me :). It’s really good atmosphere for you to touch and visit even for photographer
to get a lot great photogenic here and it’s really so much authentic as you won’t find the rows and rows of stalls selling the same tacky souvenirs.

We arrived here on very late evening almost the time for dinner so we were looking out a place to eat and I really can say that there is so plenty of it for you to choosed; First, I chose Thai fidh hamburger which use fresh locally fish here and it was so tasety then my friend would like to eat hot potridge to fill her stomach Lastly we were totally agree to buy shell and squid grill from boat vendor and eat nearby the river which all good taset and good atmosphere. Beside that I like Thai old dessert which easily find here which are handmade and old routine they made years ago even some dessert I havent heard the name before also.
By the time we were walking There’s a lot of food and souvenirs shops for you to shop which is something hardy to find in the city but iy’s something uniquely only here.

Before I got back I pick a very nice postcard in theme of Amphawa night from a local postcard shop aroud there and write some not to send it back to
me in this few days as a souvenir myself. For this activity you can choose for any postcard you want and they gonna stamp “Amphawa” for you be fore send
it also. Even if you can go on a ask them to take your own postcard in particular place and maybe with a nice cold fire words. You have like it!!!

Unfortunately myself that I cant take a boat trip to watch fireflies glowing in the night along the canal which take only 1 hours to touch like that
and of course it definately romantic, it’s about Japanese story like that. Along the canal with fresh air and fireflies glowing on the dark in winter
season and your lover tou would not want anything else.

In case you would like to touch more and more and wanna sleep here you may choose from a lot home stay which make you feel like home but.

I mus have tried all once again.

See you later lively Amphawa

Slovakia is a peaceful country, with beautiful scenery, inexpensive shopping and tourism and hospitable people.
Slovakia is becoming one of Europe’s focal points for travel and tourism. “Slovensko” in the native language of Slovak, officially named the Slovak Republic, the country enjoys moderate weather and a prime map location, bridging east and west.
Slovakia’s capital city Bratislava is a growing hub of culture, as well as the national seat of politics and business. Its thousand year history offers a great deal to visitors. The second-largest city of Kosice is a centre of heavy industry, but also of architecture and multiculturalism.

Slovakia Accommodation
The accommodation in Slovakia is provided by hotels, guest houses, chalets or you can take advantage of services offered by car camps. All above mentioned accommodation facilities are situated in cities, mountains, spas or nearby water reservoirs. Most of them are very well equipped and offer high quality services. Slovakia hotels and guest houses usually provide a wide range of services as for example catering offered by their restaurants. If you like to prepare your meals yourself, you can take advantage of lodging in chalets usually equipped with kitchens.

Slovakia Transportation
Getting to Slovakia
In middle of Europe, there are many easy ways of getting here, and it gets easier every year.Air travel connections have almost doubled almost every year recently. International flights to Bratislava airport now travel regularly all year from cities in many parts of western and eastern Europe and to the Middle East, with extra scheduled summer service to Croatia. There are also regular connections to the Tatras, to Kosice and to central Slovakia. The budget airline Sky Europe offers the most connections, but other airlines, including the Czech national carrier CSA, the Slovak national carrier Slovak Airlines, and others have been increasing service as well.
An alternative is to fly to Vienna, one of Europe’s busiest airports, and travel the one hour by shuttle bus to Bratislava. Buses run every two to four hours from early morning until late evening.
There are good connections by train between most Slovak cities and all major European cities. Most European national carriers include Slovakia train stations in their searchable databases. One of the best is the German national railway, which also has good links to the rest of Europe
Bus and coach lines also exist, but unless the traveller has a strong preference for bus travel it is probably easier to find a connection, more comfortable and possibly cheaper to take a train into the country. If you do want to travel by bus from another country, check the official website (in English) for international bus travel to Bratislava (only the main connections are listed)
By car, international car rental agencies still sometimes restrict travel into Slovakia, due to high rates of car theft. There is no legal restriction at the border to driving a car into Slovakia, and with an international driver’s license you may drive your car in the country for visits of up to several weeks. (Some travellers prefer to come to Slovakia by other means, and rent a car inside the country - the car therefore has Slovak license plates, and so is less of a target for potential car thieves and burglars.)
Transportation inside Slovakia
Train travel remains very good and frequent, especially to areas most visited by tourists and other foreign visitors. It has certain drawbacks, including somewhat older trains, but is maintained very well, with a safety record far exceeding those in most western countries.
Towns and villages which are not on train lines have at least some kind of intercity bus or coach connections. Buses make required rest stops approximately every two hours.
Air travel may be best for travel in a hurry between Slovakia’s regions. Flights from Bratislava to Kosice take an hour, while driving takes four to five hours, trains five or six, and buses (not recommended for such a long trip) considerably longer.
If you plan to travel by car, Slovak law requires of visiting drivers an international driver’s license. There are a number of car rental agencies in different cities, but for short-term rentals the widest selection is in Bratislava. Some agencies will deliver the car to you anywhere in Slovakia.

Places to visit in Slovakia
Bratislava,Bratislava is the capital and the largest city of Slovakia. Set between the hills of the Small Carpathian Mountains and on the tip of the Danube River, this city is considered to be at the centre of Europe. It is hardly a few minutes drive from Austria and Hungary, and is the world’s only capital city to be bordering two nations. Vienna (the capital of Austria) and Bratislava are just 50 km apart. Bus and train services are easily available between the two capitals.
The city is typified by a mild climate. With average temperatures around 10°C, it receives about 5.4 hours of sunlight in a day.
Košice,The city of Košice is Slovakia’s second largest city and is situated in the eastern part of the country in the valley of the river Hornád in the Košice Basin. This beautiful city is surrounded by the Čierna Hora Mountains in the north and the Volovské vrchy hills in the west.
Košice lies at a height of 208 m above sea level. The climate is mild with average temperatures of about 27°C in summers and -3°C in winters.
Košice has a population of approximately 250,000 people. The majority of the inhabitants are Slovaks, although there are also a large number of Hungarians, Czechs, Ukrainians and Germans.
Pieštany, is a small spa town of approximately 31,000 residents, situated in a valley in the west of Slovakia, near the lower stream of the Váh, the country’s longest river. The town is also the seat of government for the district of Pieštany, which incorporates 27 nearby villages. The town’s position ensures that it is protected from the worst of Slovakia’s winter, with a partially cloudy, dry, and mildly windy climate.

Slovak food
Traditional Slovak eating and drinking habits date back to the old Slavic period influenced later by Austrian, German and Hungarian cooking. Slovak food is based on many different kinds of soups, gruels, boiled and stewed vegetables, roast and smoked meats and dairy products. The style of cooking varies from region to region. Slovak specialties include both sweet and savoury dishes made with flour, including dumplings.
Popular drinks include Slovak beer, wine and mineral waters. Wine from the Tokaj region and sparkling wine from the Bratislava region are particular specialties.Restaurants and other catering establishments are many and varied, including cafes, buffets, snack bars, inns, ale houses and wine taverns. All restaurants are graded according to quality. The main meal of the day is usually lunch, comprising soup, a main dish, and dessert.

Shopping in Slovakia
Souvenirs include pottery, porcelain, wooden carvings, hand-embroidered clothing and food items. There are a number of excellent shops specialising in glass and crystal, while various associations of regional artists and crafts people run their own retail outlets. Some of the most famous brands are Modra and Tatran, which have an international reputation for craftsmanship.
Other special purchases include folk ceramics from all regions of the Slovak Republic and woodcarvings from the eastern and central parts of Slovakia (Spissk Bel, Michalovce and Kyjatice). Shopping hours: 0900-1800 Monday to Friday. 0900-1200 Saturday.

Portugal , officially the Portuguese Republic is a country on the Iberian Peninsula. Located in southwestern Europe, Portugal is the westernmost country of mainland Europe and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and south and by Spain to the north and east. The Atlantic archipelagos of the Azores and Madeira are also part of Portugal.

Portugal Transportation
A rental car in Portugal can often be found at a very reasonable rate. Since the Euro was introduced, prices have risen slightly but they are still good. Portugal is a small country which makes it great for road trips and getting off the beaten path. To get the most out of the country many visitors take advantage of a rental car in Portugal which then allows for even more things to do. One thing which could be a concern is fuel prices. Fuel is quite pricey in Portugal but these days it”s pricey everywhere! The benefit to a rental car in Portugal is that the country is small. Perfect! This keeps costs down and travel time shorter.

Places to visit in Portugal
Faro is a great destination for a summer vacation. A huge amount of visitors during the summer does not take away anything from a visit to the warm beaches and great food of Faro, in the southern Algarve region of Portugal. The fresh seafood sold by outdoor restaurants right on the beach during the warm summer nights are a must visit.
Porto is a major city in northern Portugal. It was very memorable for me because of the river, the Douro, and the wine from the region. The Douro flows through the center of the city and I took a few tours up and down it during my stay. Neat, colorful houses line the hills around the banks and many remarkable bridges pass overhead. Also, tasting the wine at the many wineries that are in the city was a highlight since I love port wine and, of course, this is where it originated.
Visiting the Castle of Sao Jorge, which dominates the center of Lisbon, is the highlight of any trip here. First built way back in the 6th century BC, the castle was of major importance protecting the city of Lisbon from raids throughout history. To visit it now, right smack in the city, reminds one that the middle ages were not so long ago in this part of the world.
Estoril is a great seaside beach town. Close to Lisbon, Estoril is a great mix of both warm beaches and the archeological buildings of the capital to the north. One neat highlight, outside of just relaxing on the white sand here, is the Forumla One racetrack nearby. It used to be on the race car circuit but you can now go visit it for other, smaller events.

Food in Portugal
The food of Portugal is inspired by the Atlantic and thus many of the dishes contain fish, especially salted cod, and because Portugal is not a rich country a lot of its food is the simple fare of fishermen and farmers. Expect to find fish, meat, rice and potatoes (usually fried) and other calorific staples, combined with olive oil, wine and friendship (the older the better, as the proverb goes). Portuguese food is generally inexpensive and served in large quantities, with €8 buying you a hearty meal in a café and under €25 enough to get you a meal in most of the restaurants in Portugal.

Shopping in Portugal
Lisbon’s charming and historic streets present excellent opportunities for the savvy shopper. Atmospheric stores sell leather and hand made goods, antique and contemporary ceramics, and hand-painted tiles. You’ll also find some of the largest shopping malls in Europe which offer a seemingly endless array of goods.

Latvia is a small country on the Baltic Sea with ancient history and traditions. There are many interesting tourist sights which will attract everyone. If you want to enjoy nature - there is not only the serene Gulf of Riga and the open Baltic Sea, but also nature parks, fast rivers and lakes with beautiful forests on the shores. Those who are interested in history will be fascinated by the medieval castles and culture of the ancient Latvians. If you are interested not only in entertainment but also in gaining new knowledge and information you are welcome to visit Old Riga, where you will find not only fabulous architectural monuments but also various night clubs and pubs.

Latvia Accommodation
When planning your trip to Latvia, be sure to make inquiries about places to stay at during your visit. While in Latvia, stay in one of the numerous hotels. Choose one that suits your needs, as there are various types of hotels, starting with the luxurious upscale hotels to those providing more modest accomodations. Many of them are located near the city center or major tourist sites. For example, if you are planning to visit the Latvian seaside resort town of Jurmala, you can stay in a hotel situated a few minutes walk from the beach. Young and active people will enjoy staying at a camping site or even in a tent.
If you are planning to stay in the countryside, think about renting a room in a guesthouse, where you will not only have a good rest but will also enjoy the homey atmosphere that the host creates for you. If you decide to spend a night in a tent, there are tent sites, campfire sites, and fresh drinking water at your disposal. Your vehicle will be safe and this excellent recreation will revitalize you for the following day and for new adventures.

Cycling Routes in Latvia
Latvia is ideal for cycling. Outside its capital Riga, the roads are relatively empty and fresh unpolluted air fills the lungs. Country lanes wind through forests, small hills, picturesque villages and towns, and past the occasional castle or church. There’s also the small matter of 500 km of coastline.
When cycling in Latvia one should observe the general traffic regulations and bicycles must be equipped with all the necessary safety equipment such as reflectors and lights for travel in the dark.
Cycling routes are not always marked, so use of a suitable map is strongly recommended.

Things to Do in Latvia
Pedvale Open Air Art Museum, Sabile
Opened in 1991, this state historical monument comprises 100 hectares of meadows, ravines, forests and rivers where artists express themselves using a range of media. Artists are encouraged to draw their inspiration from the natural environment and use local resources to create their paintings, sculptures, installations and performances.
The Dome Cathedral, Riga
Built in 1212 with a blend of gothic, baroque and renaissance styles, the cathedral holds frequent music concerts that showcase its world-famous organ.
Jurmala Beach
Spanning 19 miles along the gulf of Riga, this sunny resort has been a fashionable retreat since the 18th century. The unspoilt beach is backed by lush forest and the mineral-rich mud and spring water make it a popular choice among spa tourists.
Aglona Basilica
Latvia’s most important pilgrimage site, this Roman Catholic shrine dates from 1699. One of its ten altars guards an icon of the Virgin Mary which is believed to have saved Aglona from the plague in 1708.
Tervete Nature Park
This award-winning park boasts picturesque landscapes, ancient memorials, wood sculptures and children’s playgrounds. Cycling, boating, fishing, horse riding and bird-watching are all popular activities among visitors.

Latvian Food
Cuisine is an important part of every nation’s culture - and Latvians have a particularly healthy appetite for both life and food. Over the centuries Latvian cooking has been influenced to greater or lesser extents by various other national cuisines but since ancient times, the typical Latvian menu has contained things like rye bread, porridge, vegetables (particularly root vegetables), pork, chicken, fish, wild game and dairy products.
Due to the climate and the demands of outdoor life the foods have tended to be substantial and filling. Various foodstuffs including meat, fish and cheeses are smoked to help preservation and enhance flavour.
At seasonal festivals see specific traditional meals being prepared. Many of the more famous dishes even carry certain mythological meanings. For example, so-called ‘grey pies’ are served as part of the Christmas meal. Their circular form represents the circle of life. Round, yellow caraway cheeses prepared for Midsummer celebrations represent the sun and fertility.

Shopping in Latvia
Latvia is a rather expensive country and the level of prices could be compared with Scandinavian countries. Daily necessities like food and some services are still relatively inexpensive by Western standards.Credit cards have been introduced for just a few years; however, many of stores and retailers do now accept credit cards. Small shops and kiosks accept cash only. The majority of shops are open from 9-10 a/m till 6-7 p/m on weekdays and till 5 p/m on Saturdays. Recommendable are the popular market places where you can buy fresh products (vegetables, fruit, mushrooms, berries and dairy products, flowers) from the countryside.
